The system folder page allows you to choose the junction point of your namespace extension within the shell namespace. The following junctions are available:
Desktop: Your namespace extension will appear as an object directly underneath the Desktop. It will be visible on the Desktop of your end-users.
My Computer: Your namespace extension will appear as a sub-object of My Computer. An example for such a sub-object would be your disk drives displayed underneath My Computer.
Control Panel: Your namespace extension will be a subfolder of the Control Panel. Earlier versions of Windows which do not have support for this feature will display your extension under My Computer. You can choose on which Control Panel page your folder will appear on Windows XP.
My Network Places: Your namespace extension will appear as a sub-object of Network Places, also called the Network Neighborhood on earlier versions of Windows.
Remote Computer: Your namespace extension will appear as a sub-object of every computer browsed on your network, similar to how folders shared on those computers appear.
Select the junction point that is most suitable for the namespace extension you are creating, and click Next. Click Back to return to the previous page in the wizard.
